Simple and delicious honey za’atar salmon is a new weeknight staple! This recipe is so easy to make for a healthy week day meal.

Za’atar Salmon
Za’atar is one of my favorite middle-eastern spice blends made from a mix of toasted sesame seeds, sumac, thyme, marjoram, and a few other spices. I love using it on salmon, roasted veggies, or even in a breakfast sandwich.
This honey za’atar salmon is so flavorful, and comes together so easily. The salmon stays juicy, and the combination of flavors works so well together.

During the week, I’m all about quick, healthy dinners- especially if they come together in one sheet pan!
To add a little variety to this meal, I roasted sliced sweet potatoes and baby carrots for 20 minutes before adding the seasoned salmon fillets. Within 40 minutes, you have a dish that can be served as is, or enjoyed with a side salad and your favorite rice.

How to make honey za’atar salmon
- Start off by patting your salmon fillets with a paper towel to dry of any excess moisture
- Season the fillets with salt, pepper and za’atar
- Zest about 1/2 a lemon over the salmon, then drizzle the fillets with honey and olive oil
- Bake for about 8 minutes, and broil for another 2 minutes to achieve the perfect crisp texture
If you wanted to prepare this dish with a side of veggies, be sure to roast those first for around 20 minutes, then add the salmon fillets to the same tray to let it all finish cooking together.

This simple salmon dish is the perfect healthy dinner. It’s incredibly flavorful, flaky, and an easy recipe that’s made in under an hour. I can’t wait for you guys to try it!

This was a huge hit with my family! Will make again and again!
This was fast, easy, and delicious. We will definitely make this for dinner again soon.
My salmon-hating son just begged for thirds of this salmon and then licked the bones! A big thank you from this Alaskan mom!
