No-bake Chocolate Chip Energy Bites

One of my all-time favorite freezer staples are these no-bake energy bites. They’re made purely from pantry staples and take 15-20 minutes to throw together! They’re the perfect hassle-free sweet fix.

During the summer heat, but even all year round, I always crave something quick and satisfying, especially after a workout. These no-bake chocolate chip energy bites are a great grab-n-go snack to hold you over before your actual meal.

No-bake Chocolate Chip Energy Bites

No-bake Chocolate Chip Energy Bites Ingredients:

  • Rolled oats- quick or rolled oats would work well for these
  • Creamy almond butter– feel free to substitute any nut or seed butter in the same amount
  • Pure maple syrup– any liquid sweetener could be substituted
  • Chia seeds– adds a nice boost of omega-3 fats!
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips- I know I specified a measurement, but the more the better!
  • Cinnamon
  • Salt, always!

The best part about these energy bites is that they’re completely customizable. You can swap out the nut butter for a different nut or seed variety, add in dried fruit and even crushed nuts. Feel free to play around with these, because you truly can’t go wrong with these.

Almond Butter Chip Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup natural almond butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a medium sized bowl, mix together the maple syrup and almond butter
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir together until well combined.
  3. Scoop out one tablespoon of batter and roll into balls. Lay on a parchment lined plate and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Keep stored in fridge for up to 2 weeks, and freezer for up to 3 months.

Makes delicious bars!

These taste delicious. I used this to make energy bars instead (save time rolling into balls). I also replaced the maple syrup with agave because it’s what I had and added some chopped almonds!

By any chance is there nutritional information available for you recipe? I’m trying to get an idea but can try to find it on my own if not available.

These are honestly the best thing for school, or work, or before a morning run, when you need something in your stomach, but cannot eat something too filling. So good, I love energy balls. Also loved the coconut lemon ones from your insta!!
