Chocolate Strawberry Raw Cake

strawberry recipes easy

If you’re looking for simple strawberry recipes, this no-bake Chocolate Strawberry Raw Cake is a delicious way to use up any extra strawberries you have lying around!

It’s naturally plant-based, and made with a date/nut crust. The filling resembles a cashew-based ice cream filling, and it has swirls of chocolate and strawberry flavors in every bite.

This cake comes together in just about 10 minutes, and has an ice cream like consistency. All of the layers are made in a blender, pressed into a springform pan, then frozen.

I love to reserve some of the crust mixture to make little date balls to top the cake with. It seriously has the most decadent chocolate strawberry flavors- similar to a chocolate covered strawberry!

What you’ll need to make this strawberry chocolate raw cake

The cake is made with just about 10 simple ingredients. I haven’t tested any substitutions, but you can leave a comment below or message me on Instagram with any questions you may have!

CRUST

  • walnuts
  • dates
  • cocoa powder
  • water
  • sea salt

CHOCOLATE FILLING

  • raw cashews
  • cocoa powder
  • canned coconut milk
  • maple syrup
  • water
  • vanilla extract
  • lemon juice
  • sea salt

STRAWBERRY FILLING

  • raw cashews
  • fresh strawberries
  • canned coconut milk
  • maple syrup
  • vanilla extract
  • lemon juice

Start by preparing the crust, blending each filling layer, and layering it into your pan. I use a knife to create those swirls throughout the cake.

After freezing the cake for a few hours, top it with fresh strawberries, date balls, shaved chocolate, and a drizzle of melted dark chocolate.
