Balsamic Salmon Bites

Balsamic salmon bites is one of my favorite recipes for a 30-minute meal during the week. Bake or grill the salmon, pair it with a delicious homemade sauce and serve it with a quick salad and side dish for a well-rounded dinner.

The salmon bites are seasoned and pan-seared until browned, then finished off in a sweet and tangy balsamic sauce. The salmon stays tender, and pairs so well with fresh tomatoes and chopped basil.

I love to serve this dish with a fresh side salad for a lightened up dinner. Leftovers are also good in a wrap or sandwich the next day!

Here are some serving suggestions for these balsamic glazed salmon bites-

  • Green Goddess Orzo
  • Pesto Pasta with Burrata
  • Chickpea Couscous Salad
  • Burrata Tortellini Salad

Ingredients In Balsamic Salmon Bites

This recipe uses simple ingredients that come together to create an elevated dinner recipe. Here’s what you’ll need-

  • Skinless salmon : I uses a thick salmon fillet, with skin removed. I cut the salmon into 1″ cubes
  • Balsamic glaze: the homemade balsamic sauce is made from balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, dijon mustard, garlic, and salt & pepper
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper and Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil
Balsamic Salmon Bites
  1. Start by preparing your marinade by combining the ingredients together in a bowl or jar, then mixing well
  2. Season the salmon bites with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning then rub with olive oil
  3. Cook the salmon in a heated pan with olive oil for about 5 minutes, then flip for another 3-4 minutes
  4. Pour the sauce into the pan then lower the heat and continue cooking the salmon for another 3-4 minutes, until the sauce has thickened
  5. Serve the salmon with cherry tomatoes with the sauce spooned on top. I like to garnish with a little extra Italian seasoning when serving
Balsamic Salmon Bites

The balsamic marinade cooks down in the pan, creating the most delicious tangy sauce to pour over your fish. I love to garnish the dish with fresh basil, Italian seasoning and colored tomatoes when serving for a pop of color.

If you love this recipe, you can make it again using chicken as the protein for another variation. There’s really no going wrong!
