Greek yogurt dough has been one of my favorite easy lunch preps for months. It’s insanely easy to make, light & fluffy, and a delicious protein-rich dish to have on hand.

It’s made using all-purpose flour, greek yogurt, baking powder, salt and garlic powder. The dough gets rolled out then baked, then finished with your favorite pizza sauce, cheese and toppings.

It’s my favorite protein-rich lunch to make when I want something delicious and satisfying.

greek yogurt pizza dough

This recipe is the same as my Greek Yogurt Bagels, just with added garlic powder to the dough. There is so much you can make with the dough, and I love that its made with ingredients I always have on hand.

Though this definitely won’t replace real pizza in my diet, I love prepping this 10-minute recipe when I’m in a pinch.

What you’ll need for this protein-rich pizza

  • All-purpose flour
  • 0% Greek yogurt
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Pizza or marinara sauce
  • Shredded cheese
  • Toppings: I added sliced onion and olives, but feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings

How to make greek yogurt pizza dough

  1. Start by combining the flour, baking powder, salt and yogurt in a bowl. Knead the dough with your hands to evenly incorporate the flour and yogurt. Add more flour to your hands as needed to form a dough
  2. Transfer the dough to a greased 9″ skillet, or roll it out onto a parchment lined tray for a thinner crust.
  3. Bake the dough on 400 F for about 10 minutes
  4. Top with your sauce, cheese and toppings then bake the pizza for another 15 minutes
  5. Finish it off with your favorite herbs and spices and enjoy!

Greek yogurt pizza is one of my go-to lunches that’s ready in just about 30 minutes. I hope you guys love it as much as we do!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup 0% Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Toppings

  • Marinara sauce
  • Shredded cheese
  • Olives
  • Sliced onions or veggies of choice

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, garlic powder and baking powder. Add in the greek yogurt and start mixing together with your hands. The dough may feel wet and sticky at first, but continue mixing with your hands to form a smoother dough. If needed, add 1-2 more tbsp of flour if the dough is too sticky.
  3. Grease a 9 or 10″ skillet with olive oil then flatten the dough into the pan. If you wanted a thinner crust, roll the dough onto a parchment lined tray instead.
  4. Bake the dough for 10 minutes. Remove from oven then top with your sauce, shredded cheese and any toppings. Bake for another 15 minutes.

I had to add way more flour to this to make it work. It was a sticky mess.

This is a genius idea – thank you! We have also made it using non-dairy greek yoghurt and chickpea flour – still works a treat. We use pesto to top the base and have used toppings such as venison with blue cheese and fig with goat’s cheese, walnuts & hot honey. Yummy.
