lemon parmesan salad

The perfect side dish

Whenever I’m running low on veggies to make as a side dish, I love throwing together a simple green salad. It’s light, fresh, and pairs well with pretty much any meal.

This lemony salad take 5 minutes to throw together, and is filled with freshly shaved parmesan. It’s flavorful, crunchy, and can be made with any greens of your choice.

How to make Lemon Parmesan Salad

The Dressing

To make the salad dressing, you’ll need:

  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Grated parmesan + shaved parmesan
  • Simple spices like salt, pepper and garlic powder

Mixed Greens

I love using a 5-mix lettuce for this salad, but you can use any greens you prefer. A few of my top picks would be kale, arugula, or spring mix.

What to serve with your lemon parmesan salad

There are so many ways to serve your salad. Pair it with a pasta dish, homemade pizza, or your favorite choice of protein. Here are some ideas for what to pair with your salad-

1. Everything Crusted Salmon Bites

2. Lentil Burgers

3. Vegan Creamy Pasta Sauce

Such a simple but perfect salad. I made this for Father’s Day, because we were grilling a variety of different main dishes-shrimp, chicken, and ribs- and this went so well with all of them. Thanks for all the great recipes. You are my go-to blog, and I am never disappointed!
